Love March Madness, but not the best venue...
The NRG stadium set up for watching basketball is less than ideal. Despite being on the third level, not too high up, we still felt quite distant from the court, making it hard to fully enjoy the action. There were various issues, some possibly attributed to the Pitbull organization. During the sweet sixteen games' first night, the concession stand on our level ran out of souvenir cups (and ice, which could be NRG stadium's fault). There was a single T-shirt stand on our level, with a long line. On the elite eight game night, I went to the only open T-shirt stand on the first level, which had no small sizes available for most styles. It's puzzling why there wasn't enough merchandise for sale at the games, given the potential for profit. Despite these challenges, the games themselves were excellent. Improvements are needed in visibility and concession efficiency.
